Where's the song ~~ "Don't let your daughters grow up to marry a Cowboy" ?

Life is tough! Requires hard physical work, long, long days of pain, dirt, and broken fingernails.
Days of frigid cold & scorching heat; through the dust & mud; daybreak into the darkness of nite~~
the heart & body becomes toughened & weathered replicating leather!
A forever constant factor for a real Cowboy's Wife is tons of sweat, oceans of tears and a constant 'drought' in the wallet!

IF she wants to spend anytime at all with her Cowboy, she must do as he does, you become partners!

Kick off your boots, grab a cup of coffee, sit back and envision yourself in my life!
... It really isn't that bad! There are many rewards to be had to make it a great lifestyle! ...

I'm not lost...

....just lost for words right now..

Cowboy made it home safely Saturday night about 2:15 am. Not to worry, all went well.
I just have some other pressing news to deal with in the next few days, regarding my Dad.
When I know more, and my heart isn't so heavy with worry & my mind isn't twisting like a wild whirlpool in the deep sea of scattered thoughts....I'll be back to check in on all my blogging friends! Ok?

W.O.W. - please know we're thinking about you in the north and sending prayers to you and your family. I hope all is okay. Glad to hear that cowboy made it home safely - one less thing to worry about there. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help here in the blogosphere!

Dear Barb,

I have been thinking so much about you during the past few days while I was fighting the weeds that were trying to overgrow my vegetables. Which is not so bad after I read what disasters have happened in your garden. I know that when things in life get rough one can feel pretty lonely. However, there are so many people praying for you and I hereby join them. I send my love and encouraging thoughts for you and your Dad. Is he far away from you?
I have many more questions but I'll keep them for later when you're back around!
Take good care!
Big hug,
Karen

Thank you all for so many wonderful thoughts. We still know nothing (28th)...But I've sure missed staying in touch & up to date with all of you! Helps keep the mind from wandering places it need not go......
(gonna try to convince Cowboy tomorrow that I can splurge and get His-speed thru DISH...they called today and said it is finally available here!! Then my phone would be freed up...and I could visit everyone easier!!

Oh (Relief!) I missed you! I was really worried about you! I hope everything will turn out ok! Keeping you safely tucked in my prayers!
Thanks for the comment on LL's award< I think I might have offended him? I hope not! I like him truly! I guess the colors could have been darker? or "hairier!" I was going to have you be one of the firsts to look at it, but I know you were gone for a bit! So I just posted it. He is probably on his way here to kick my skinny, no shoe wearin, fanny! EEk!
