Where's the song ~~ "Don't let your daughters grow up to marry a Cowboy" ?

Life is tough! Requires hard physical work, long, long days of pain, dirt, and broken fingernails.
Days of frigid cold & scorching heat; through the dust & mud; daybreak into the darkness of nite~~
the heart & body becomes toughened & weathered replicating leather!
A forever constant factor for a real Cowboy's Wife is tons of sweat, oceans of tears and a constant 'drought' in the wallet!

IF she wants to spend anytime at all with her Cowboy, she must do as he does, you become partners!

Kick off your boots, grab a cup of coffee, sit back and envision yourself in my life!
... It really isn't that bad! There are many rewards to be had to make it a great lifestyle! ...

I made something....

...out of boredom today!

Check out your left sidebar. Maxine.
Some asked about my Salsa.
I replied....by creating this new idea.

Have a great day! Will see ya'll on the flip-flop!
(when I get a smooth sailing keyboard!)

LOL!! You sound like you had just as a productive dad as I did! Maybe it's genetic. Until I have kids, I can't be a housewife. I am way too skilled in wasting time. Hope your new keyboard comes soon, can't imagine how annoying that is!

Good morning Barb :)

I'm so sorry about your keyboard! You sure have a lot of issues with computers and internet... yikes! Mine is so slow it's like waiting for dialup. I'm sure my son would tell me that I have too much on it... blah blah blah... but too bad! LOL

I love the new blog. I can't think of anything to ask except that I want to see pictures of your house :)

hugs,
DADR rue

You have so many neat things in your sidebars! I love them! I'm STILL trying to figure out my site.

Blessings,

I love your blog and your spunky attitude. And i am an old friend of Maxine's. That old gal has blurted out much of the logic that i think about!

Barb, thanks for your visit to my post today. Farming is a tough life, but rewarding in many ways. My parents owned a dairy farm and I well remember chores even though we left when I was nine.

Thank you for your sweet comments about my surgery. I appreciate it very much.

Hugs, Jeanne

This is going to be a great new addition! Can't wait.

I miss my mom's advise on stuff (especially cooking- I swear she took her kitchen knowledge to the grave!) and now I know I can come here and you can point me in the right direction!
