So you'll feel more at ease here, and you won't have to roam
We'll take out the dining room table, and put a bar along that wall

OMGOSH!! I haven't heard that song in ages and it used to be a favorite! Thanks for the memories and sorry for the snow. Loved the post!!!

Ok lets see... it is snowing, the horses are generating the next ozone layer, the tractor is idle, the roses done died, ol mac is being a butthead and cowboy has crutches next to his boots. I really hate it when you hint around to things but then don't fess up to them.

What did YOU do push cowboy down the steps and club him in the ankle with a wine bottle? While the dog held him down and licked his face? Or was it the snow shovel. Hmmm hmmm?

I reckon your just gonna say that Cowboy had some freak accident with peanut butter or something. *sigh* tell him I am concerned but too gosh darned tired to call you and ask you what in the bumpety bump bump happened!

Nice picturs. Last weekends snow missed us! Went all around us! Hee Hee.

OH NO, more snow. It won't give up! It'll be July before I put away the moonboots and get out the flip-flops!
I hope your cowboy is okay....hang in there, the tractor will be fired up again soon, I'm sure! ;)

Damn, the snow is bad enough..but a pair of sticks too..that really sucks big time. They look pretty new..I keep mine in the closet... I have had them 28 years..they have come in handy quite a few times..I am a clutz.. I hope the news you elude to is good news, so you won't become a fence fixin' wino:(

Crutches next to boots. That's never a good sign!

Well, it's time to pull out the ol' cape from the closet. Cause every cowboy's wife has a standard issue, "I'm to the rescue" wife cape. Plus the leotard, but in your case that's to keep you warm under your clothes! You must layer!

Mrs. Mom said...

Fingers crossed that Cowboy heals up from what ever he did REAL QUICK!

Hang in there WoW! We'll be praying for you!!

Shirley said...

Looks like you're being hit with tough times again, what with snow, a dog that won't let you sleep, work piling up, and **gasp** CRUTCHES-Oh no! Since you said you'd know more on Wednesday, I assume Cowboy didn't just fall and break his leg but that there is something else going on. So here comes the pep talk: Don't forget to count your blessings when things seem to be falling apart all around you. We woke up to -32C (-26F)and there is no possobility of the foot and a half of snow we have melting in the near future. How much snow did you say you got???
And since wine is always a nice solace (in small amounts!) I recommend a nice Australian Cabernet Sauvignon!
Cheer up Barb, we love ya!

The white stuff has been falling here off and on for a few days. It is not sticking, but is just enough to cover the ground for a few hours, then melt away. I wish Sprinter....a mix of winter and spring...would get on out of here and let Spring bloom in all its glory!! Okay now, what did Cowboy do???? You have me worried!!!! And if you really want a Wino to redecorate, I'll be right over....he, he, he. I can work magic with left over wine bottles and corks!!

James 1:2-6 ~Consider it pure joy, my SISTER, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you, SISTER, may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. If you lack wisdom or direction, ask God, who gives GENEROUSLY to all without finding fault, and it will be given to YOU. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because if you doubt you are like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.~

God's plan for you during this time is simple - Call upon HIM for direction and guideance, wait and listen for HIS voice, and be confident in WHAT you hear HIM direct you to do. It may be simply to have patience, it may be something with more action. The Comforter has you in the palm of His hand. He knows exactly what you need.

Blessing to you and Cowboy, today!
