Where's the song ~~ "Don't let your daughters grow up to marry a Cowboy" ?

Life is tough! Requires hard physical work, long, long days of pain, dirt, and broken fingernails.
Days of frigid cold & scorching heat; through the dust & mud; daybreak into the darkness of nite~~
the heart & body becomes toughened & weathered replicating leather!
A forever constant factor for a real Cowboy's Wife is tons of sweat, oceans of tears and a constant 'drought' in the wallet!

IF she wants to spend anytime at all with her Cowboy, she must do as he does, you become partners!

Kick off your boots, grab a cup of coffee, sit back and envision yourself in my life!
... It really isn't that bad! There are many rewards to be had to make it a great lifestyle! ...

Merry Christmas to All !

It is that time of year again, when I am most humbled and grateful for the many blessings that God has provided for me.
This Christmas Season, my heart and soul are with my two nephews and their families. Their Father, my Brother, passed away Thanksgiving evening, after a battle with two cancers. I am thankful that he no longer suffers, yet my heart is saddened and, again....another void in my life.
It's been a hard 2 3/4 years for my Mom also. First losing my Dad in Feb. 2011, then my Sister in June 2012, Mom's companion, Katie (her 10 year old Dachshund) Sept 2013, and now my Brother.
Thankfully, my last remaining sibling has a home for my Mom to spend the holidays with.
Maybe next year....I will have a home and she can be with us.

(progress is SLOW as we are trying to do 99.9% of our rebuild ourselves and we are the first to admit that it's not as easy to do physically or mentally as is was when we built homes in our younger years! Sucks to get old.....but we are still able to plug along~ and we feel blessed!).

Enjoy this Season
Remember the Seasons' reason
And love your families!
